Veterans Get In For Free
According to the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service:
For the third consecutive year, U.S. veterans, members of the nation’s armed forces and their families will be able to visit a national wildlife refuge without paying the entry fee on Veterans Day, Tuesday, November 11. Thirty-six national wildlife refuges charge an entry fee. For a list of events on national wildlife refuges on November 11 and throughout the year, visit our Special Events database.
